16 Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord, says: “Look, I am laying a stone in Zion, an approved stone, set in place as a precious cornerstone for the foundation. The one who maintains his faith will not panic.
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I lay for foundationD4835 in Zion a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone, a sure foundation: he that trusteth shall not make hasteD4836.
foundation - Lit. 'a foundation well-founded.' haste - i.e. shall not hasten with fear.
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
