14 You must not oppress a lowly and poor servant, whether one from among your fellow Israelites or from the resident foreigners who are living in your land and villages.
14 Thou shalt not oppress a hired servant [who is] poorD1327 and needy of thy brethren, or of thy sojournersD1328 who are in thy land within thy gates:
poor - Or 'afflicted,' as ch. 15.11. sojourners - Or 'strangers.'
