Melchisedec - King of righteousness. God - El Elyon. El itself means 'The Mighty;' Elyon is habitually represented by 'Most High.' See Note to Gen. 1.1 also Deut. 32.8.
18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he [was] the priest of the most high God.
