13 But you know it was because of a physical illness that I first proclaimed the gospel to you,

in - Dia, here meaning the state he was in, not going through and out, but staying within the time or space or limits. 'In weakness' characterized the manner of his coming to them.
13 Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
