4 and falling on the earth he heard a voiceD7793 saying to him, Saul, Saul, why dost thou persecute me?
voice - Phone, accusative; in ver. 7 genitive; in ch. 22.9,14 accusative; in ch. 22.7 genitive. The genitive is 'to listen to,' or when the voice of a rumour reaches. It is the fact or physical hearing. The accusative is that the thing heard is before the mind.
