14 For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died.
14 For the love of the Christ constrains us, having judged this: that one diedD8430 for all, then all have died;
died - Or 'had died.' It is the aorist, and refers to the state Christ's death proved them to be in, in a state of nature. To make it a consequence of Christ's death is, I judge, an utter blunder.
