15 but sanctify [the] Lord the Christ in your heartsD9270, and [be] always prepared to [give] an answer [to] every one that asks you to give an account ofD9271 the hope that [is] in you, but with meekness and fear;
hearts - See Isa. 8.12-13. of - Or 'a reason for,' logos, as ch. 4.5; it includes both ideas. In Matt. 12.36 it is 'account,' but in Acts 19.40 'a reason for,' as elsewhere.
