12 and maintain good conduct among the non-Christians, so that though they now malign you as wrongdoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God when he appears.
12 having your conversationD9246 honest among the Gentiles, that [as to that] in whichD9247 they speak against you as evildoers, they may through [your] good works, [themselves] witnessing [them], glorify God in [the] day of visitation.
conversation - i.e. 'manner of life.' which - The expression here does not mean exactly 'whereas' or 'wherein.' It is rather 'in that respect in which.' He does not mean in that particular thing exactly, but in respect of that very walk and course of conduct.
12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereasK7261they speak against you as evildoers, they may by [your] good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
