28 Then they brought Jesus from Caiaphas to the Roman governor’s residence. (Now it was very early morning.) They did not go into the governor’s residence so they would not be ceremonially defiled, but could eat the Passover meal.
28 They lead therefore Jesus from Caiaphas to the praetoriumD7673; and it was early morn. And *they* entered not into the praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but eat the passover.

28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgmentK6740: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.
