2 Return to the Lord and repent! Say to him: “Completely forgive our iniquity; accept our penitential prayer, that we may offer the praise of our lips as sacrificial bulls.
2 Take with you words, and turn to Jehovah; say unto him, Forgive all iniquity, and receive [us] graciouslyD6215; so will we render the calvesD6216 of our lips.
graciously - Or 'receive what is good.' calves - Or 'young bullocks,' as Lev. 4.3; Num. 8.8; ch. 13.2. 'Calf' and 'heifer' in ch. 10.5,11, is a different and feminine word.
2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive [us] graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
receive us graciously: Or, give good.
