Hebrews 9

NET

28 so also, after Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, to those who eagerly await him he will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation.

Darby

28 thus the Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear to those that look for him the second time withoutD9097 sin for salvation.

Darby Bible Notes

without - 'Apart from,' having nothing more to do with it. The first time He bore our sins, and was made sin (being sinless); but now, having put sins wholly away for them who look for Him, and having made them partakers of the whole fruit of his sacrifice to put sin away, He appears to them without having to say, or need to have anything to say, to it. It is gone, as regards them, by his first coming.

KJV

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
