19 For since I am free from all I can make myself a slave to all, in order to gain even more people.
19 For being free from all, I have made myself bondman to all, that I might gain the most [possible]D8286.
[possible] - 'The most possible' gives the sense. It is used for the major part of any body, and hence for the mass opposed to leaders. It is not 'the more,' i.e. so much the more, but the greatest number possible, the whole mass that he could reach by these means.
19 For though I be free from all [men], yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
