15 The Lord of Heaven’s Armies will guard them, and they will prevail and overcome with sling stones. Then they will drink and will become noisy like drunkards, full like the sacrificial basin or like the corners of the altar.
15 Jehovah of hosts will defend them; and they shall devour, and shall tread down the sling-stones; and they shall drink, [and] make a noise as from wine; and they shall be filled like a bowlD6548, like the corners of the altar.
bowl - As ch. 14.20. and see 1 Kings 7.40. it was for receiving the blood of sprinkling.
15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stonesK6482; and they shall drink, [and] make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowlsK6483, [and] as the corners of the altar.
subdue with sling stones: Or, subdue the slings of the stone. shall be filled like bowls: Or, shall fill both the bowls, etc..
