20 But she replied to them, “Don’t call me ‘Naomi’! Call me ‘Mara’ because the Sovereign One has treated me very harshly.

20 And she said to them, Call me not Naomi call me Mara^D1725; for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

Mara - Meaning, 'bitter,' or 'bitterness.'

20 And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi^K1235, call me Mara^K1236: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.

Naomi: that is, pleasant. Mara: That is, bitter.

20 And she said^H559 unto them, Call^H7121 me not Naomi^H5281, call^H7121 me Mara^H4755: for the Almighty^H7706 hath dealt very^H3966 bitterly^H4843 with me.
