2 May the Lord protect him and save his life. May he be blessed in the land. Do not turn him over to his enemies.
2 Jehovah will preserve him, and keep him alive; he shall be made happy in the landD3437; and thou wilt not deliver him to the will of his enemiesD3438.
land - Or 'on the earth.' enemies - As Ps. 8.2; also vers. 5,11.
