18 and must bring a flawless ram from the flock, convertible into silver shekels, for a guilt offering to the priest. So the priest will make atonement on his behalf for his error that he committed (although he himself had not known it) and he will be forgiven.
18 And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the small cattle, according to thy valuation, as trespass-offeringD752, unto the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his inadvertence wherein he sinned inadvertently, and knew [it] not, and it shall be forgiven him.
trespass-offering - Or 'according to thy valuation of the trespass.'
