16 “‘If a man consecrates to the Lord some of his own landed property, the conversion value must be calculated in accordance with the amount of seed needed to sow it, a homer of barley seed being priced at fifty shekels of silver.
16 And if a man hallow to Jehovah [part] of a field of his possession, thy valuation shall be according to what may be sown in itD928: the homerD929 of barley seed at fifty shekels of silver.
it - Lit. 'to the seed thereof.' homer - i.e. ten ephahs. see Ezek. 45.11.
16 And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD [some part] of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed [shall be valued] at fifty shekels of silver.
