21 My heart is crushed because my dear people are being crushed. I go about crying and grieving. I am overwhelmed with dismay.

breach - Or 'crushing,' or 'destruction' as ch. 6.1. The word is the same in ver. 11 and ch. 6.14, and as the verb 'crushed' in this verse, and 'ruin,' Lam. 2.11.
