3 “I have stomped grapes in the winepress all by myself; no one from the nations joined me. I stomped on them in my anger; I trampled them down in my rage. Their juice splashed on my garments, and stained all my clothes.
3 I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples not a man was with me; and I have trodden them in mine anger, and trampled them in my furyD5117; and their bloodD5118 is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all mine apparel.
fury - As 'hot displeasure,' Ps. 38.1. blood - Lit. 'juice,' alluding to the winepress.
3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people [there was] none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
