18 They crossed at the ford in order to help the king’s household cross and to do whatever he thought appropriate. Now after he had crossed the Jordan, Shimei son of Gera threw himself down before the king.
18 And a ferry boat passed to and fro to carry over the king's household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king as he was [just] crossing over the Jordan.
18 And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king's household, and to do what he thought goodK1672. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan;
what he thought good: Heb. the good in his eyes.
