19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, he who has been preached by us among you (by me and SilvanusD8382 and Timotheus), did not become yea and nay, but yea *is*D8383 in him.
Silvanus - * i.e. Silas, Acts 18.5. *is* - The apostle here changes from the aorist 'did not become' to the perfect tense of the same verb, translated 'is.' He is not speaking of the character of his preaching, but declaring that the verification of all divine truth is in the Person of Christ.
19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, [even] by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
