24 Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when he has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power.
24 Then the end, when he gives up the kingdom to him [who is] God and FatherD8351; when he shall have annulled all rule and all authority and power.
Father - It is almost impossible to render the Greek idiom, which unites with one article either two qualities of the same person, or two persons under the same quality. But I prefer this awkward English to 'God, even the Father,' because this phrase is uncertain in doctrine, and might be used as meaning that the Father only is God, which is not the sense.
24 Then [cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
