16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness?
16 KnowD8054 ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves bondmen for obedience, ye are bondmen to him whom ye obey, whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Know - In ver. 6 it is objective knowledge, ginosko. In vers. 9 and 16 it is conscious knowledge, oida. See Note to 1Cor. 8.1.
