4 And another horse, fiery red, came out, and the one who rode it was granted permission to take peace from the earth, so that people would butcher one another, and he was given a huge sword.
4 And another, a red horse, went forth; and to him that sat upon it, to him it was givenD9505 to takeD9506 peace from the earth, and that they should slayD9507 one another; and there was given to him a great sword.
given - Or 'had been given to him.' It is not expressive of a particular time. He had one which was given him. It is the aorist, as 'went forth.' take - Aorist tense, see Note, ver. 2. slay - Aorist tense, see Note, ver. 2.
4 And there went out another horse [that was] red: and [power] was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
