23 He will die because there was no discipline; because of the greatness of his folly he will reel.
23 He shall die for want of disciplineD4183; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astrayD4184.
discipline - Or 'instruction.' astray - 'Shall go astray' is the same root word as 'be ravished' in vers. 19,20. But the passage is surely made plain by chap. 26.11. 'he shall go on in a multiplied course of folly.'
23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.
