7 The king was furious! He sent his soldiers, and they put those murderers to death and set their city on fire.
7 And [when] the king [heard of it he] was wrothD6877, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
wroth - 'And the king was wroth,' is probably the true reading.
7 “But when the king heard” [thereof], “he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.”
