Leviticus 2

NET

5 If your offering is a grain offering made on the griddle, it must be choice wheat flour mixed with olive oil, unleavened.

Darby

5 And if thine offering be an oblation [baken] on the pan, it shall be fine flour unleavened, mingledD714 with oil.

Darby Bible Notes

mingled - It cannot, I think, be doubted that this is more than, and intended to be more than 'anointed.' 'Mixed,' 'mingled,' is the sense of the word. In Ps. 92.10 it is not merely 'anointed' as consecration, but his whole system is invigorated and strengthened by it. It formed his strength; hence it is 'fresh oil' there.

KJV

5 And if thy oblation [be] a meat offering [baken] in a panK509, it shall be [of] fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.

KJV Bible Notes

in a pan: Or, on a flat plate Or, slice.
