16 Now the descendants of the Kenite, Moses’ father-in-law, went up with the people of Judah from the city of date palm trees to Arad in the wilderness of Judah, located in the Negev. They went and lived with the people of Judah.
16 And the children of the Kenite, Moses' father-in-law, had gone up out of the city of palm-trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which is in the south of AradD1579; and they went and dwelt with the people.
Arad - That part of the Negeb which formed the district of 'Arad.' see Josh. 10.40, and 1 Sam. 27.10; 30.14.
