6 She conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. Then the Lord said to him, “Name her ‘No Pity’ (Lo-Ruhamah) because I will no longer have pity on the nation of Israel. For I will certainly not forgive their guilt.
6 And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. And he said unto him, Call her name Lo-ruhamahD6115; for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel, so that I should pardon themD6116.
Lo-ruhamah - Meaning, 'Not having obtained mercy.' them - Or 'for I will utterly take them away.'
6 And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And [God] said unto him, Call her name LoruhamahK6040: for I will no moreK6041have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them awayK6042.
Loruhamah: That is, not having obtained mercy. I will no more: Heb. I will not add any more to. but I will utterly take them away: Or, that I should altogether pardon them.
