13 “‘For testing will come, and what will happen when the scepter, which the sword despises, is no more? declares the Sovereign Lord.’
13 For the trial [is made]; and what if even the contemning sceptre shall be no [more]? saith the Lord Jehovah.
13 Because [it is] a trial, and what if [the sword] contemn even the rod? it shall be no [more], saith the Lord GOD.
Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod?: Or, When the trial hath been, what then? shall they not also belong to the despising rod?.
