Ezekiel 2

NET

4 The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and hard-hearted, and you must say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’

Darby

4 and these children are impudentD5579 and hard-hearted: I am sending thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord JehovahD5580.

Darby Bible Notes

impudent - Lit. 'stiff of face.' see ch. 3.7. Jehovah - Adonai Jehovah, characteristic of this prophet, used about 200 times. Adonai, a plural form of Adon, 'lord,' 'master,' is a name of God, not merely a title.

KJV

KJV Bible Notes

impudent: Heb. hard of face.
