17 His intention will be to come with the strength of his entire kingdom, and he will form alliances. He will give the king of the south a daughter in marriage in order to destroy the kingdom, but it will not turn out to his advantage.
17 And he shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright onesD6090 with him; and he shall practiseD6091; and he shall give him the daughter of women, to corrupt her; but she shall not stand, neither shall she be for him.

upright: Or, much uprightneous, or equal conditions. corrupting: Heb. to corrupt.
