2 Corinthians 3

NET

14 But their minds were closed. For to this very day, the same veil remains when they hear the old covenant read. It has not been removed because only in Christ is it taken away.

Darby

14 But their thoughts have been darkenedD8403, for unto this day the same veil remains in reading the old covenant, unremoved, which in Christ is annulledD8404.

Darby Bible Notes

darkened - As 'hardened,' Mark 3.5; 'blinded,' Rom. 11.7. annulled - I have no doubt that the text is right, and that Moses covered his face while he talked to the people, and that the Hebrew, Ex. 34.33, means nothing else, and ver. 34 proves it.

KJV

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [vail] is done away in Christ.
