18 They abandoned the temple of the Lord God of their ancestors and worshiped the Asherah poles and idols. Because of this sinful activity, God was angry with Judah and Jerusalem.
18 And they forsook the house of Jehovah the God of their fathers, and served the Asherahs and idolsD2590; and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.
idols - Or 'images,' as 2 Sam. 5.21.
18 And they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.
