43 Then listen from your heavenly dwelling place and answer all the prayers of the foreigners. Then all the nations of the earth will acknowledge your reputation, obey you as your people Israel do, and recognize that this temple I built belongs to you.
43 hear thou in the heavens thy dwelling-placeD2143, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for; in order that all peoples of the earth may know thy nameD2144, [and] that they may fear thee as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name.
dwelling-place - 'Settled place', as in vers. 39 and 49. name - Lit. 'that thy name is called over this house which I have built.'

this house which I have builded, is called by thy Name: Heb. thy name is called upon this house.
